Directions to Orient-by-the-Sea Restaurant and Marina – Adjacent to Orient Beach State Park, Orient Point, N.Y.

From LIE – Take the LIE east to exit 71. Turn left onto Edwards Avenue. Take Edwards Avenue north for approximately 4 miles (crossing over route 25), then make a right at the light onto Sound Avenue. Take Sound Avenue east for approximately 30 miles (rural – through Greenport and East Marion) to Orient Point. Orient-by-the-Sea Restaurant and Marina will be on your right just after the entrance to Orient Beach State Park. If you come to the New London Ferry Terminal, you went a bit too far. When entering the parking lot, the “Brooklyn Girl” is on the left side of the Marina.

From Sunrise Highway – Take Sunrise Highway east to exit 63N, route 31 north. Turn left onto route 104, then merge right onto route 105 towards Northville. After approximately 3 miles (crossing over route 25, turn right onto route 43 (Northville Turnpike) and take 1/4 mile to end. Turn right onto Sound Avenue. Take Sound Avenue east for approximately 30 miles (rural – through Greenport and East Marion) to Orient Point. Orient-by-the-Sea Restaurant and Marina will be on your right just after the entrance to Orient Beach State Park. If you come to the New London Ferry Terminal, you went a bit too far. When entering the parking lot, the “Brooklyn Girl” is on the left side of the Marina.

Orient Point is also reachable by ferry from New London, Ct. (vehicles permitted). The terminal is within walking distance of the boat.

There is also the ferry from Shelter Island and Sag Harbor (vehicles permitted) on the south fork of Long Island which drops you in Greenport, a 10 minute drive to the boat.
